From Deref Into Borrow, a Primer on Standard Library Traits

The Rust standard library has a rather large number of traits some of which appear to serve similar purpose. There's Deref, AsRef, Borrow. Also From, FromStr and FromIterator.

In this talk, I make sense of it all and outline why those traits are the way they are.
